The blue and magenta painting, paired in the photo with a painting from Solar Seduction Series, 'Blushing Horizon' which is golden yellow and pink.
This series evolved from a colour field into an abstract expression, stemming from my subconscious.
The mirror medium is a metaphor for the mind, symbolising the threshold between consciousness. The circle represents the cycle of energy, the basis of our entire existence.
Spontaneous sweeps of paint float between glazes of pigment to represent a contrast between the internal and external worlds.
The process of creation helps me to explore our reality and existence.
