This painting is from the 'Solar Seduction' Series but I think it looks great matched with 'Celestial Reverie' from the series: 'Cycles of Reflections'.
The Solar Seduction series focuses on a highly purified expression of beauty, where shape and form collide with colour. I want the viewer to respond to beauty at its most simple truth...an imperfect symmetry amplified by colour.
Recognising our emotional response to luminosity and colour; I seek to capture the impact of the vastness of the sky at the break of dawn. The circle symbolises infinity, completeness, and the search for a connection to something greater. Tranquillity and calmness are intentionally evident in my work where I present a limitless destination where light, colour, form and space consolidate.
