Pigment and Epoxy Polymer on Glass
“Solar Seduction” is a luminous exploration of light, colour, and form—an ongoing
dialogue between stillness and movement, intention and spontaneity. Created on
mirrored or aluminium surfaces using pigments and fluid epoxy polymer, each
circular work reflects moments of quiet connection with the vast sky and the
natural world.
Through vibrant, layered colour, O’Neill captures the shifting beauty of space and
the ephemeral interplay of reflection and depth. Guided by refined Minimalist and
Formalist principles, the works invite the viewer to pause, contemplate, and
reconnect.
Each piece emerges through an instinctive, hands-on process. Pigments are blended
with epoxy polymer and poured onto mirrored glass in flowing layers, their
movement guided by a brush. As each layer settles, light begins to interact with the
surface, creating a living field of movement and luminosity.
In this convergence, energy, form, light, and colour unite in imperfect symmetry,
revealing beauty in its most essential state.
