'Art in the Park' 2025

Meeting art collectors and art lovers at Art in the Park last week was a highlight, as well as sharing with the full house at my 'Artist Talk'.
​My two distinct bodies of work were exceptionally well received and Im proud to share that Im still the reigning holder of 'Eden Park Best in Colour Award'!

A few comments that really stuck with me included:
“NZ’s Johnny Niesche” and “Your work has the same resonance as Gretchen Albrecht’s.”
Such generous words—I was honestly quite moved.

My Painting "Golden Kiwi" with a 24Ct background made the billboards in Auckland CBD for a week!
